In just 1 week the Arizona Diamondbacks will have their first pitchers and catchers workout for the 2018/2019 MLB season! The workout for the pitchers and catchers is going to be held at the Salt River Fields. Pitchers and catchers from the team will be practicing for their first Spring Training game that takes place on February 21st, 2018 at 1:10pm.
The Baseball Spring Training on February 21st will also be at the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale, located at 7555 N. Pima Road in Scottsdale and is open to the public. The Spring Training is going to be a practice with Arizona’s own university; Arizona State University’s Sun Devil baseball team.
The Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Spring Training is not only a great way to bring family & friends together, but also creates great sports culture for the community. With the Arizona Diamondbacks starting their Spring Training on a glorious spring setting at the Salt River Fields, which holds 11,000-seat capacity. The field also holds a grassy lawn for fans to sit and watch the game.
The view is beautiful from the outside grassy lawn, to the comfortable, yet spacey seats. The ballpark for Spring Training will house some of the finest foods, from lemonade to popcorn. Baseball food favorites will also be available from hotdog stands to peanut stands as well. The spring weather will be nice, as well as the sounds of bats cracking and fans cheering.
