David Starr is currently a Stock Car Driver who is in the NASCAR races. He is now in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. His pit crew, Jimmy Means Racing has been highly known around NASCAR. He drives a No. 52 Chevrolet Camaro and is expected to race this weekend on March 9-11 in Phoenix, AZ. David finished 59th in 2017 of last year, but has had his best finish in 2006 with coming in at 4th place during the Red Horse Racing in Mooresville, North Carolina. In 1996, Starr was the first rookie race car driver to win a race. In the last 13 years, Starr has been in over 134 races over the span of his career. Jimmy Means Racing is David’s pit crew, but it is named after the legend Jimmy Means who has been in NASCAR for years. Jimmy Means was born in 1950, Huntsville Alabama. Jimmy competed in the Winston Cup Series as the owner/driver in 1976 – 1992 and finally retired after being involved in a car crash with J.D. McDuffie’s fatal accident in 1991. Jimmy’s biggest fan in NASCAR was and still is Dale Earnhardt, Jr. who continued to support him even when he was racing towards the end of his career.
